This blog will provide answers and advice for the 20-something-year-olds out there who are currently jobless, and are hoping to start off their career during a time when thousands of professionals are being laid off everyday. Those of us who are graduating from higher level institutions and looking for jobs in the 2009 economic downturn have a LOT to face in the months ahead. We haven’t yet had the opportunity to gain experience in the working world, AND we are venturing out into a VERY harsh economic environment. My hopes for this blog are to provide helpful information and insight to others who are in my predicament. I will provide weekly posts on the best known strategies used to land a job when there aren’t many available, and I will hopefully serve as a resource to other aspiring, young professionals who find themselves restlessly job-searching.
